Harvey is a beautiful black 4 year-old with a little white star on his chest. He is FIV+ but currently in good health. He is a sweet cat who just wants a home and someone to snuggle with. He may be a little shy at first but he’ll warm up in no time. His foster mom says he likes to talk and has a great deep voice. Wouldn’t you love to hear him talk to you? If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the link below: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ You will get a quicker response doing this rather than emailing us. We request $150 for each cat over 4 years old, $175 for each cat 1-4 years old, and $200 for each kitten under a year old. These donations fund neutering, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Hi, my name is Cleo. I am a long-haired, black and white cat, about 10 1/2 years old. I live with my “sister” Bella. She is a beautiful seal point Siamese, about 9 years old. We are not blood related, but we have been living together with the same family for a long time and have grown attached to each other. We are a bonded pair, and need to be adopted together. Bella is very inquisitive, friendly, gentle, and of course talkative, like most Siamese cats. She is somewhat dog-like; she always comes to see who's at the door, she likes to be with people, and she comes to you, sits next to you or on your lap, and lets you pet her. Petting starts her motor running, and she purrs like a kitten. When she has had enough petting, she lets you know gently, without drawing her claws or nipping. She continues to sit beside you, and if she wants more attention, she lets you know by giving your arm or hand a little nudge. Bella sits on your lap usually for short periods of time. I am a shy cat. Bella leads the way and I follow. I wish I could be more like her, but maybe you can help me work on that. It takes me a little time to get to know you, but once I understand that I can trust you, I will stay on your lap and let you pet me for a long time. I purr and keep coming back for more petting. You can pet me from the top of my head to the tip of my tail. I will even join you in bed when I am comfortable with you. I am also very gentle and do not draw my claws or nip. I even like to be brushed when I am sitting on your lap. I am a gentle cat that is looking to be loved. I also love to snuggle with Bella. We are looking for an adult home that is mostly quiet. We need to have a place to relax and get accustomed to our new surroundings without feeling like we need to hide from too much commotion. The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. We request $150 for each cat over 4 years old, $175 for each cat 1-4 years old, and $200 for each kitten under a year old. This helps with vet exams, spaying or neutering, initial vaccinations and the combo tests. Fletcher is a brown tiger tabby, about 3 1/2 years old. He was found wandering around outside, looking for food. He’s healthy and very friendly. He gets along with other cats, but would probably do best with a female as a housemate. He could be a single cat for someone who wouldn’t leave him alone too long. He loves everyone, especially men! He likes to play and lounge around, and especially loves being petted. He’s a great cat! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. We request $150 for each cat over 4 years old, $175 for each cat 1-4 years old, and $200 for each kitten under a year old. Haylee is a 4 year-old girl with long black fur and a white splotch on her chest. She also has double front paws! She is a sweet, gentle cat who loves people. She will cuddle on the sofa, loves to be petted and doesn’t even mind being picked up. She came to The Cat Connection after being adopted into a home with three other cats who all bullied and picked on her! So she might want to be the only cat, but she could possibly get along with another sweet, submissive kitty. Can you help make her next adoption be a forever one?The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. Scooter is a beautiful 2 year old brown tiger female with white on her neck. She has a gentle disposition but needs to learn to trust humans. She does like to be in the room with her person but needs some patience to allow petting. She does love to play with the laser or with her friend Chelsea. Chelsea is gorgeous 2 year old blue Russian female. She also needs a patient person to help her learn to trust people. She loves to play with people, especially string toys and lasers. She also likes to play with her toys under the covers on the bed! She will also eat treats from a person’s hand so it’s likely she will learn to be touched. These cats are best friends and should be adopted together. The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. Julius and his brother Oliver were returned to the cat Connection recently. The owner of these two beauties could no longer keep them due to illness. Now our boys are twelve years old and once again looking for their forever home. They went to the vet, had all their shots, senior blood work to rule out any illnesses, and guess what; they are in great shape! They are beautiful and sweet and a bit shy but they respond to love and attention. They would love to find a quiet home, hopefully with someone who is home a lot and can give them lots of attention. They are asking for no young children or dogs please. Just someone to love them who they can love back and spend their senior years with. There is a tax-deductible donation of $150 for each cat over 4 years old, $175 for each cat 1-4 years old, and $200 for each kitten under a year old. My name is Niblet and I'm a female cat. I have a sister named Needle. I think I'm called Niblet because I'm the smallest. We both have short black fur. Everyone says it's the softest fur around. We're pretty proud of it! There are a lot of black cats here in our foster home, but if you shut your eyes and we all gather round and you pet us all, you can pick us out by how soft our fur is. Some people won't adopt black cats because there's a silly superstition that we bring bad luck. That means there are a lot of black cats left in shelters. We definitely do not have the power to bring bad luck. We want the things that other cats want :litter, play time, companions, and lots of love. My sister and I love to be petted just like most other cats. We like to be around people. We don't think we'd like living with dogs or really young kids but we think we'd like older kids. We really like sleeping on a comfy bed. We're very friendly. We might be kind of shy until we get to know you and adjust to our new home. We're healthy. If I do say so myself , there's not a thing wrong with us. We just need a loving home. We were born in September of 2012 so we've been waiting a really long time for a forever home. Please fill out an application and come to meet us. I don't think you'll be disappointed! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. There is a tax-deductible donation of $150 for each cat over 4 years old, $175 for each cat 1-4 years old, and $200 for each kitten under a year old. Quigley is a one-of-a-kind cat. It's true, he does have a hard time with new people and will probably need a period of adjustment (ie:hiding), but then he will become a complete snuggle cat. He will flop down next to you and roll on his back to have his belly rubbed and his neck and head scratched. He is a sweet, gentle cat who can peacefully coexist with another cat or cats, and will be blissfully happy as long as he gets lots of attention. He has a lot of energy and loves to play so probably should be with another cat (or a person who wants to play a LOT). About 5 years old (but he plays like a kitten!), Quigley is a gorgeous long-haired tuxedo. He is FIV positive, but he is healthy and with good veterinary care he will likely remain so for a long time. Having this big fluffy ball of love next to you on the couch would be a wonderful addition to any home. The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. Blair came to the Cat Connection with her brother (Baxter) as 2 adorable little balls of fluff, hers black and his gray. They were both extremely shy at first and seen only as fluffy streaks across the floor. Baxter was adopted but shy Blair is still waiting for her forever home. Blair, like many cats, needs to know you before she'll let you pet her. With a patient owner who allows Blair time to settle into her new surroundings, Blair should blossom. Reggie is a healthy 5-6 year-old. He's much more handsome in person than his picture! He has been in foster care much too long. Black cats tend to be passed by and it's a shame because they have as much love to offer as any other cat. Reggie would likely flourish in a home of his own after taking awhile to settle in and learn his way around. He would probably quietly seek out his owners for some love and attention after learning that his people aren't going anywhere and leaving him behind. He is a sweet boy who loves to be petted and brushed, maybe by you? The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. Simba is a brown tiger striped tabby with white paws, and you can see where he got his name when you see his face; he has adorable lion-like features. His personality is more subdued; he was shy when he first came but soon warmed up and now loves to be petted, but is still a more reserved cat, like a quiet and dignified lion. Kevin is a beautiful long-haired black & white tuxedo kitten who was born on 7/20/10. He is very playful and gets along with all the other cats, especially his brother Kiefer. They both like to be around people and will always come over to say hello when you come in. Kevin loves to sprawl out and relax while you pat him. He loves to play with the laser light and string toys, with people and other cats. He has a very easy-going manner that is difficult not to fall in love with. He is the kind of cat that anyone would enjoy being with, and can't wait to find his forever family & make them happy! Kiefer is also a gorgeous long-haired black and white tuxedo cat, with a cute little splotch of white on his face (which makes it easy to differentiate him from Kevin). Like his brother, he is very playful, gets along with other cats, and loves to be around people. He is a bit shier than Kevin, but still loves attention and when he knows someone he will come over and ask for attention, rubbing his head on your hand to be petted. He is incredibly sweet and will be a wonderful addition to anyone’s home. The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats.
