Sponsorship Program

Do you love cats but can’t have one? Sponsorship is the next best thing!

At The Cat Connection, we make every effort to find the best home for the cats in our care. Sadly, some of the cats that come to us tend to be overlooked by adopters because they suffer chronic illnesses or are shy or lack socialization due to possible earlier abuse or neglect.
With the support of our dedicated Sponsors, the Cat Connection is able to provide the best possible care for many of these cats.

Cats for Sponsorship

Take a look at the sweet cats we have at The Cat Connection that need your help.

Tux

Tux (not to be confused with Tuxie!) is a young cat, who we rescued as a kitten with her mother and siblings. While they all were adopted, we realized there was something different about Tux. It turned out she has a seizure disorder, which is manageable with meds. We think she will probably be with…

Sneezy

Sneezy is many people’s favorite cat. He is paraplegic, and scoots around the floor with his front legs. Don’t feel bad for him, though, he does fine, and can often be seen winning an argument with another cat. He does need bowel and bladder meds, many puppy pads, and a shampoo every day. Can you…

Tuxie

Tuxie is the wonderful cat we took in when his loving owner had to go into a nursing home (we still take Tuxie to visit him occasionally for happy, tear-filled reunions). Tuxie is an older cat, about 11 or 12, but he loves to play like a kitten! Unfortunately he has started to go into…

Sage

Sage is the sweetest cat you may ever meet. Sadly he has been adopted several times but continues to end up back at TCC (his last adopter passed away). Now he is older (about 12) and has some medical problems; he has chronic asthma and upper respiratory issues. He needs periodic antibiotics and steroids to…

Tracy

Tracy is a sweet cat, although he is not totally comfortable with people he will allow a little neck scratching. He can usually be found in his favorite window seat or sometimes convening with other cats under the bed, but lately Tracy has had to spend some time in a cage. He has stomach issues,…

Honey Pie

Yes I am as sweet as my name! I was cold and pregnant when I was rescued. I am so sad to have lost both my kittens, but I am lucky all the volunteers love me so much. I have tested positive for Feline Leukemia, which means I will have a shortened life and cannot be with other cats unless they are FeLV too. Please sponsor me – just tell them you want the honey pie!!

Paisley

I love, love, love to play! I am not too into people touching me, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want my own special person! Could you be that person for me?

Freedom

First and foremost I am just so beautiful. Really! I love people – I just don’t want you to touch me! I love when you play with the laser light and swat the feather for me to catch. I haven’t found my perfect match yet, but I could be your special sponsor kitty!
