Advisory Board
Michelle Kovach
Michelle Kovach has been volunteering with TCC since 2015. Her first role was feeding the cats at one of our former larger foster facilities, and she has also been a member of the Capital Campaign Committee and now the Advisory Board.
Michelle currently works in Philanthropy at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and has twenty years of experience in development mainly working in healthcare and higher education.
Michelle grew up in New Jersey, moved to Boston for college at Boston University, and now lives in Waltham with her two TCC cats, Miles & Nina.
Elisif Brandon
Elisif Brandon has been volunteering with TCC since 2008 and has served on the Board since 2015. She started her own business as a professional architectural photographer in 2008. Elisif grew up in Ohio, moved to Delaware and then Texas to earn her Ph.D. in wildlife and fisheries science from Texas A&M University in 2000. She worked for nearly 20 years in charter schools as a grant writer and data analyst. She moved to Newton, Massachusetts, in 1997 and to Waltham in 2012, where she lives with her husband and two TCC-adopted cats. Elisif moved from the Board of Directors to the Advisory Board in 2018 so she could devote more time to her photography business. She will continue to help TCC in many areas, including, grants, fundraising, and publicity.
