Bambi

Bambi

My name is Bambi. I’m a 6 year old orange and white short haired tabby. I had a home once, but my people moved and left me behind. A neighbor called The Cat Connection and they came and picked me up and told me they’d help me get a new home. I did get a new forever home but I ended up coming back to the Cat Connection. I am not sure why, but when I got back I had to go to get some dental work. Have you ever had that? All I know is one minute I was awake and then I woke up and my mouth was sore but then it got all better and I feel great now! So time to try getting another home that might really be “Forever” this time.

I’d like a home with people who will love me enough to not leave me behind if they move. I’ve been in a foster home for a few months now and people take good care of me but I’d really like a home of my own. I want a home where my own people will have a special cat bed just for me, where I’m maybe allowed to sit on the couch and just hang while my people watch TV. I’d like it if my people reach over now and then and pet me and scratch my neck. Yup-I just lean right into that scratching. I’m purring just thinking about that! If you have another cat-I’m fine with that but I would like it to be a girl. If you don’t have another cat-that’s fine with me too. I think I might like it if my people are home a lot to keep me company. I’m good with adults and but I don’t think I would like little kids.

I keep hearing people ask if The Cat Connection has any kittens. The thing about kittens is-in a few short months they look like me; a cat. Then, it’s hard to find homes for them too! The great thing about adopting a cat instead of a kitten is that you know what you’re getting.

My foster mom can tell you what my personality is. I’m a mellow kind of guy. She can tell you about my health, my likes and dislikes. You don’t have to figure out much of anything. You mostly just take me home and love me. I’m not going to be climbing up your curtains and doing some of the crazy things young kittens do; OK-I might be a little shy while I check out my new digs but I won’t be shy for long, and I won’t disappoint you!

I REALLY want a home of my own, I’m a big guy, but I’m not old. I’m a teenager and I have a lot more life and loving left in me. Please give me a chance and fill out an adoption application and come meet me. The people here are nice but a guy needs a home, you know?
