Low-Cost Spay/Neuter

In five years, one cat couple and their offspring can produce over 12,000 offspring. This is much faster than the growth rate of adopting families. By spaying/neutering your pet, you can help to decrease the number of homeless cats.

The Cat Connection spays/neuters every cat before they are adopted out to their new family.

Spay-Neuter Assistance

We understand that spaying and neutering can be an expensive procedure.
Here is the information we have about low-cost spay and neuter services in the greater Boston area.

Animal Control

The Mass Animal Fund can provide free spay/neuter vouchers to low-income residents for their cats and dogs. If you are eligible to receive government help such as: TAFDC, SSI, VS, SNAP, WIC, etc. you can qualify.

Massachusetts residents who qualify can apply by contacting their local animal control officer. Contact information for municipal animal control officers is available here: ACO List.

To save time you can prefill in our voucher application to give to your local ACO.
