Hiya! My name is Thaddeus. You like it? See how pretty I am? Orange is a very nice color. Black is a nice color too-my brother Thornton is black. We are kind of a matched set for Halloween, but we truly are cats for all seasons. Wouldn’t you like to have a matched set like us? We are going to be six years old in July.

We don’t know why, but we haven’t been able to find someone who wants to adopt us! That could be lucky for you because maybe you would like to foster us long term. We would really like it if you would because then we would get our very own human who would give us attention. We hear that we are sweet but a little scared, whatever that means. Are you scared? If you are then maybe we could all be scared together.

They also say that we need someplace where we can learn not to be so afraid, and that when we get a new foster home we should start out in a room that doesn’t have things that we can crawl under and hide for a long time, like a bed. I hope that doesn’t mean we can’t have someplace to curl up and sleep! Do you think that is what they mean?

We promise it will give you more satisfaction than you could possibly imagine. They could also match you up with another volunteer who would be your personal mentor so you don’t have to think that you would be doing this alone. So what do you think? We might be a little shy at first, but you know that if you give us time and a little patience then we could get ready for a forever home. (Psssst! Sometimes long term foster homes end up being in forever homes!) But don’t worry, if you really don’t want to keep us forever, then the Cat Connection would keep looking.

The important thing is that we might get more individual attention with you, which we would like, and you would feel really good about having furry feline companionship and on top of that, helping beautiful creatures, namely; us! Oh! And our Foster Mom can also tell you even more about us after you fill out the application! We just know that she would be happy to share stuff, like that we really like to play chase the laser light.
