Meet Tuxie. He is a handsome cat who needs to find a foster home! Hopefully you can see in his photo just how cute he is with his little goatee. Can you see how he looks longingly at the person taking the photo? Tuxie is an extremely friendly cat and he is very affectionate and don’t let his age fool you; he loves to play. Tuxie also loves to be patted and he has quite a loud purr! We know that he will make someone a great companion!! Would you be willing to give him the love and affection that he is so accustomed to?
At 12 years old, Tuxie is considered a senior cat but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a lot of years left in him and unfortunately, his forever home has suddenly come crashing down around him. We really hope that someone reading this will contact the Cat Connection and say that they will help Tuxie and at the same time, help Tuxie’s dad too. You see Tuxie’s dad adopted him when Tuxie was only 4 years old and the two of them have had a wonderful life together until his dad recently became ill and was hospitalized.
It is not something we usually do, but when we were contacted for help we were able to arrange for someone to feed and care for his precious Tuxie in the hopes that his dad would soon be home. After two weeks it became clear that this would not be the case and that Tuxie would need a more permanent line of support.
Tuxie’s owner is now in a nursing home and it has broken his heart that he cannot return home to take care of him so he has asked us to please find Tuxie a good home. He is very worried and knowing that Tuxie is safe and secured would really help him to relax.
One advantage of helping a senior cat is that they seem to know how lucky they are to be given a second chance. We think that if you give him a chance, Tuxie might convince you to make your foster home a new Forever Home for him.
